How do we approach?

A solid math foundation is built on deep fundamental understandings. Set against an education system that often prioritizes grades over understanding concepts, We notice that students often adopt a shallow approach. They attend lectures, learn to use formula, do their homework using the same formula and get ready for the test. Now, the purpose of a test is to gauge the gaps in their understanding of the concepts. However, post the test, no efforts are made to gain mastery in the subject.

Suppose a student gets 80% marks in a test. He/She is considered to be good at the subject and moves on to the next, advanced level. However, the gap of 20%, shortage of the subject knowledge is never filled.

The problem arises when students face this 20% of the subject in the next level. They muddle through to get grades and eventually start to lose their confidence and interest in the subject. They develop an anxiety over math!

We at LEAD THE CLASS, encourage students to follow a deeper approach in understanding the concepts. Similar to a building assembly where you cannot move to first floor without the completion of ground floor (or as in candy crush, where you have to master a level to move on to the next level), it is important to achieve mastery at every level. We at lead the class, encourage students to follow the deep approach and guide them in their journey!
